Affiliation:
We are part of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and have been operating in Rosamond for over 40 years!! We started with only a couple of teams and now we have many. National standards, common training programs, and the AYSO Philosophies help to ensure consistency between local Regions. Volunteers all have background checks and training to help ensure your player's experience is FUN, FAIR, and SAFE.
Check here for more about program definitions and objectives.
When is the season:
The Fall program runs from August 1st through November for the regular season. If your player or their team is invited to represent Rosamond on a Playoff or All-Star team, tournaments could extend into December, January, or even February/March.
Where do we play:
Our home field had been United Park on United Street in Rosamond for many years. As United Park is currently unusable, we've been supporting games at Westpark Elementary and the Rare Earth.
What AYSO programs do we have in Rosamond:
The Core Program consists of 6U up to 14U. With enough player interest and available division coordinators, we we also support Playground Soccer and EPIC Programs. There are other expanded programs offered in nearby Regions in our Area: 16U - 19U, AYSO United, AYSO EXTRA, & adult leagues. If you have a player, relative, or family friend interested in participating but doesn't fit into the above programs, consider volunteering to help manage the team, coach, referee, etc.
What are we about:
We operate under the AYSO philosophies and want to provide world class soccer to all the kids in our community!! There's a place here for the beginner and experienced players to play side by side in a fun and kid-safe environment while they learn skills and sportsmanship to take with them throughout their lives.
Please remember we are an all volunteer organization so we rely on the commitment and dedication of our community members to continue to be able to provide positive activities for the community. Contact us if you're interested in getting involved. The tasks/jobs required to keep things running for a positive player experience can be large, small, one-off tasks, or recurring. If training is required we are supported by a national organization willing to help.
When is Registration:
Registration for the upcoming season will open up in the April timeframe and will run through June for the season which officially starts training in August and games in September.
